Hi, I'm Anna
I’m the founder and Occupational Therapist behind Elements OT, with more than 10 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and young adults across home, school and community settings. One of the things I enjoy most about being an Occupational Therapist is taking the time to get to know each individual and understand what matters most to them and their family.
Â
Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals with a broad range of neurodevelopmental, neurological, genetic, physical and psychosocial needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I also have extensive experience working with individuals with complex support needs and family circumstances.

My experience spans assessment, therapy, parent coaching and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. I now primarily provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments, reports and telehealth services, drawing on this experience and clear clinical reasoning to provide practical, evidence-based recommendations that reflect each individual’s needs, goals and everyday life.

My Approach
Whether I’m completing an assessment, providing consultation or working alongside other professionals, I take a thorough, individualised and family-centred approach to my work. I work from a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming perspective, recognising each person’s strengths, experiences, preferences and support needs. Taking the time to understand each person’s goals, everyday experiences and what matters most to them allows me to develop a comprehensive understanding of what will genuinely benefit them.

I value working collaboratively with individuals, families and other professionals, drawing on current evidence and clinical reasoning to develop recommendations that are practical, achievable and aligned with the individual’s goals and priorities.

Outside of work, I have young children of my own. My experience of family life has deepened my understanding of the everyday demands families navigate and reinforced the importance of providing realistic recommendations that are achievable within everyday family life.
